Went to Costa Rica for 3 days and decided to buy the cookies to have something to snack on and just try them and I fell in love they are perfect and I love Guayaba.

These cookies were so very good. We enjoyed them so much that I ordered more. We enjoyed them on our flight home. Great with a hot cup of great coffee.

Thanks to Costa Rica’s tropical climate and rich volcanic soil, it is a paradise for many edible treasures. Costa Rican Guava is one of the lesser-known tropical fruits that flourish here. The oval fruit grows from an attractive, shapely evergreen tree after it showcases fragrant, white flowers bursting with hundreds of stamen.

The flavor of the guava fruit is described as being reminiscent of strawberry or pear.  Because the fruit has a high acidity and natural pectin, it is often used for pies, jams and jellies.  We have created an all-natural guava jelly to showcase in our freshly baked galletas, or cookies.
